What this is, and what it is not.

getedge is a private preview operated by Floom. Private means unlisted and told to every crawler not to index it; it does not mean locked, because there is no password on this deployment. It is offered as it stands. There is no availability promise, no support commitment, and no notice period: it can change, and it can stop.

No account, and no gate.

Browsing the catalog and installing a skill need no account. Publishing a stack does, and says so when you try. The endpoint that serves a bundle is unauthenticated on purpose, and the slugs are short and public, so anyone who can reach this deployment can read any published bundle. What bounds it is publication, not secrecy. It serves a skill only while the skill is published, its release is published and not withdrawn, its distribution rights are active and its link is unrevoked, and it serves exactly the version that release pins. Withdraw any one of those and the answer is 404.

What you get when you install.

A skill here is a small directory of text files. Every file in it is listed on its page, and the whole of it can be downloaded and read before anything is installed. Each bundle carries a record of where it was copied from, the hash of the files on both sides of that copy, and a line for every difference.

The nine first-party skills carry Floom’s own licence, and its text travels inside each bundle. It is short and it is not an open-source licence: install it, run it for any purpose including commercial work, keep it as long as you like. Do not redistribute it, do not modify it, and do not put it inside something you ship. A skill redistributed here from somebody else’s repository is a different case entirely: it carries that repository’s own licence, named on its page and shipped in its bundle, and nothing here changes it.

For part of 7 September 2026 the nine carried Apache-2.0. That was wrong and was corrected the same day, and the releases that carried it were superseded rather than edited. If you fetched one of those, what Apache-2.0 gave you over those exact files is yours and stays yours: that licence cannot be recalled, and this page is not an attempt to. It describes what the current releases offer.

A published release is permanent. It cannot be edited or deleted, only withdrawn and superseded by a new version, so a version you already installed stays exactly what it was on the day you installed it.

Nothing here is a recommendation.

This preview asserts no trust state over anything it lists. Nothing is signed, tested, evaluated or recommended, no publisher is verified, and no usage is claimed. How trust works says what is shown instead, and every skill page says the same in those words.

What running one costs you.

A skill is instructions for an agent, and your agent acts on your machine with your permissions. Nothing here has been evaluated for whether it works, and nothing has been audited for what it will do. Read the bundle before you install it. What you run, you run, and the consequences are yours.

What we ask.

Do not try to reach parts of this deployment that answer 404 to you. The public endpoints are rate-limited; the limits are enforced on the server and are not published as numbers, and an endpoint that has had enough answers 429 with how long to wait. Do not work around that. If you submit a source to be published, you are telling us you have the right to have its contents copied and published here, and you keep whatever rights you already had in it.

Withdrawing a published skill is done by hand, by asking. There is no self-service removal in this preview, and there is no visitor login to revoke, so the honest description of the enforcement is the rate limit, the 404 and the ability to stop serving something. That is the whole of it.
